EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

About 5 degrees F this morning... guess winter has set in for good.

My first ever Reate made knife!
Their quality and attention to detail has always been obvious, but there was never a design that really did it for me, and checked all my boxes… until I saw this one, the Steven Kempa designed Vulpex VK- ANUB.

Copper Dark Matter cf, zirconium clip, Elmax blade, front flipper, and absolutely minimal visible hardware.
… and the action is on par with customs that cost triple.
*Thumbs Up*

So much goodness here!!

Figured I’d take some glamour shots of this beauty to highlight some of the small detail.

Timascus clip, and zirconium inlays.

Mother of pearl inlay on the thumb studs

Internal tuning forks to enhance the acoustics when opening the knife. I’ve never seen this on ANY knife, and the acoustics are absolutely incredible. It has this beautiful *CHING* sound, like something you’d hear from a sound board in a movie as a villain dramatically opens his knife to fight the protagonist.

And of course a full integral titanium frame. The tuning forks are machined into the body and are also integral with the frame.
