Went small today Alliance Designs Scout RWL-34 blade. I cleaned an lubed it this morning so in the pocket is goes. The thing with this knife though is the clip is not very useful it hardly flexes at all so I can't clip to even a thin pocket, so I carry it in a slipcase.

I used this Cold Steel Frenzy to open the box & packaging for my new cat tower. Moony loves it BTW. That pathetic excuse of a Christmas tree is also a result of Moony. Hey, he's just under a year old. Give him a break! I also got them that ball, scratchy thing on the floor. I sprayed it with catnip & the two older ones went nuts over it for like 20 min. Then Moony got to playing with the balls. I live in a pretty small space, so I try to keep my cats entertained in their limited area.

I went back and forth this morning trying to decided what to carry, starting with the CRK Wilson Combat Starbenza 25 to follow up on yesterday's Startac for a simple FrameLock Friday, then grabbing my blue CF Biryukov #10 for a Foreign FrameLock Flipper Friday, alternatingly opening and closing the two of them. I decided on the Biryukov, but putting it in pocket, I was reminded it has this terrible, stubby clip that's a huge PIA getting both in and out of jeans. I like the knife, but keep putting off doing something about the clip, so I put that one back and grabbed its neighbor Biryukov Sigma, my first of Andrey's knives.





My Biryukovs all have some variation on this interesting blasted, then polished orange-peel-like blade finish, this one the most pronounced, with the #9 somewhat less so, and the #10 the least the three.
