Will do my friend. I’m looking forward to this trip more than the last one. We went in October and had the flu while there. Not to mention my wife was recovering from surgery.

It’s discomforting to me being limited on knife carry there. A fella doesn’t need to carry a giant Bowie like Crocadile Dundee, to feel safe. Still, living in the U.S., I’ve just always had a knife and often a pistol on me and considered it “normal”. The laws in Greece say otherwise.

How in the Hades would all the Ancient Greek heroes have braved the Aegean and Mediterranean Seas, without their swords and spears !?! 🤔

Before sharpening tested at (422).
I put the factory edge to work over the past several weeks and now she's ready to be tuned to perfection.

After sharpening tested at (125)

I stopped on a 600 diamond plate and 10 passes on the strop.

I kept the edge at 20 degrees per side, keeping it as close to an ideal working edge as possible, IMO.
