A 301 made in '92 before they changed to the super hollow grind "edge 2000".

I was back in the sheetmetal shop this afternoon, working on a more successful version of the in-deck downspout scupper I'm tasked with fabricating. I started out making marking templates to get the sizing for the multiple bends around all four edges consistent for register. I had my much loved, trusty old work user 710 with me today.

This old thing has plenty of marks and scratches, but what you see above is mostly tape goop from putting it away uncleaned last time. I'd gotten this knife used and in poor shape many years back and it took several sharpenings over that time to get to the wicked sharp, re-profiled edge that it currently wears.

Much appreciated brother. Being that you are a true “world traveler”, do you have any food recommendations for us ? We love the food here but are not well versed on such things.
I was in the islands twice during the early 1980s and the food rates as the best in my opinion. Any seafood, Souvlaki and tzatziki. A typical Greek salad with feta cheese would be an everyday staple for me 😋😃
