EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

an old benchmade

Takes me back. Carried one of those for many years towards the beginning of my LE career.

One day while patrolling in rural Maine, I took it to a “professional sharpener” that I just happened to pass by. The knife had gotten very dull and the sign promised prompt results while you wait. I got them alright, he promptly tried to “round out that weird shape towards the end of the blade” with a grinder. I almost had a heart attack when I got it back. The “professional” had never seen a tanto before.

Have to ask your thoughts on the grip-x that David used on the scales? Did he use rock wax on them to improve the grip. Thanks

I have no clue about wax being used.

So far I love the grips, lots of traction even after be covered in foodstuffs.
