NKD. I wanted another CruCarta Spydie and was back and forth between the Manix 2 and the Manix 2 XL. I've missed having the regular size Manix since selling my nice all-blacked-out one years ago as it was just too nice to mark up and just sat there. My XL is a plain black G10 satin S30V that has been getting much more carry and use lately as I've re-discovered I really like the size and heft of it. I settled on the regular size model, though, as I didn't have one, used a 10% off promo when I pulled the trigger, and, following the tracking, was happy to see it would arrive a day early.
Well, it did, but went to the wrong PO up Cape and the tracking had it just sitting there. I was up that way yesterday and stopped to see if it was still there, but they'd sent it back to the distribution center without scanning, and thankfully it showed up at my PO this morning.
In anticipation of it's arrival I pocketed my CruCarta PM2 and drove uptown to get the mail and my new knife. I'm really liking it and got some solo pics and some with its cousin.
I finally got my new wipers on the Charger today, too, after the last 4 storms took their toll on the last pair.
A bit of a size comparison with the PM2 and Manix 2 side-by-side, here. They're pretty close in size with a slight edge in both blade and handle length going to the Paramilitary. I've always thought of them as very different knives, but side-by-side there are lots of similarities too. The Manix kinda looks like a pregnant Para 2.
