That new starmate just looks bad ass, sick hollow grind. Might have to grab one at a discount on the secondary, if I can find one.View attachment 3129449

Those are awesomehaven't seen a black vecp morph very often, or at all. Are those sharp dressed knives scales on the zt?
SharpBits nailed it.What model is that?
He modified the blade on his Bodacious and added AWT scales. Very nice combo of mods!
What is the fixed blade? JohnMorning no rain is the forecast just wind, 40-60 mile a hour gusts. I guess it is wicked Wednesday View attachment 3129390

Weird Wednesday, checking out this Böker "Exchange Blade" lockback with a wild ceramic and steel hybrid drop point secondary blade

John it was given to me by my Grandfather. I was told it was made by a mate on the supply ship he was assigned to during WW2.What is the fixed blade? John
What bali is that? As someone who likes to flip my knives, am I missing out? I've always thought they look cool and seem like a lot of fun, I'm not really sure what's been keeping me from getting one
that ZT model never did much for me until I started seeing them with micarta scales on here. Now the idea of a front flipper ZT X Emerson arouses me. Another one on the wish list lolMaybe? Bought the ZT on secondary and it came with the scales. Looks likely after perusing SDKs website. Great knife.
LG are awesome.
That's an LDY Sirius V3.What bali is that? As someone who likes to flip my knives, am I missing out? I've always thought they look cool and seem like a lot of fun, I'm not really sure what's been keeping me from getting one
Remind anyone who might be interested that these things need a lot of practice before they flip as easily as it looks on YouTube. I recently bought a balisong bottle opener just for giggles, and I sucked so bad with it, it hasn’t been out of the box since the first day. I’m just glad I didn’t wast more money on an actual knife. That's an LDY Sirius V3.
They are now up to Series 4.5.
Made in China but NOT a clone or knockoff- original designs made by LDY. I have a couple others: Squid Industries Krake Raken and a MachineWise Serif.
Balisongs are great and every knife nerd should have a couple/few. Many balisongs now come with an additional "Trainer" blade that won't cut you when you try to do dumb stuff. I highly encourage using a trainer when first starting out. Either way when you flip a live blade you're gonna get cut, eventually.
