Morning, well we made it through the night, animals crawled up around 2 this morning. Day started early but a least we still have power and a treat from my friend up North, thanks Sharp & Fiery your work is stellar. My first knife, about 70 years ago, was one of my Dad's hand-me-down Barlows, and I've been a fan ever since. I also really like S35VN steel, but the first thing I noticed about this was how light it is. You forget it's even in your pocket.

Earlier this week I posted my Native Chief as that day's carry, though I actually had two with me--that fairly long-bladed Spydie alongside the even larger Rukus, a knife that I get out and at least fool around with almost daily since I got it. To be honest, I'd made an offer on a matching Mini Rukus at the Exchange and thought I'd maintain radio silence while waiting to see if the seller would accept. Well that one's headed this way in the mail, I'm carrying the big one today, and I did handle the Native Chief this morning, so I'll post a couple of the unused pics of that pair from last Sunday here.
