Thanks, friend. After quoting you and writing, I googled "Ontario Rat Micarta scales" and Way of Knife came up top of list right to the page. I've got an old combo-edge AUS8 RAT with the black Nylon handles that lives in my truck door as a back-up/beater. I always liked the fit in hand and blade shape of that knife though the steel, serrations, and handle material were just kinda meh, though at least a couple of my "true" Al Mars are AUS8 and much loved.Thank you. It’s the S35VN Red G10 variant that I swapped in some Way Of Knife Micarta Scales…perfect fit! They have a nice “warm” tactile feel but don’t really absorb hand oils like other offerings.
I don’t know what it is about that little Kwaiken but it is like a little work of art to my eyes. Just love everything about it.Boker Plus, Burnley Kwaiken Air, full size. G10 and VG10
