Nice dude! I think honestly the aluminum versions are kind of best out of all the other materials options. Going Ti or copper/brass immediately about doubles the weight. Also, I've seen some graphs a guy did showing output and run time of all different variables. He had every custom option you could have (however in his test he used the same emitter and battery in each). He found that the option that produced the most output for the longest time was a brass front piece, with the two next pieces being aluminum. It was quite a large difference between the other options too. This was testing on one of the Hanklights, so not a Convoy, and each individual light is going to run a little bit different, but that was his results.

nice emitter choice. i havent experienced many but thats what my pineapple mini came with and i think its fantastic. it's my first real edc light, outside of a few olights ive had. the light is so much better, easier on the eyes, and totally more accurate colors on whatever is being illuminated. its a very noticeable phenomenon which i didnt realize would be so drastic. i just ordered a convoy t3 with the same emitter that i am waiting on, cant wait to receive it.

awesome MEFP as well. i just also bought my first MEFP piece lol, a Zaan of all things. my first Zaan too. ill never financially recover from this(jk i already did, sold a couple pieces)

i apologize, i wasnt trying to have an extended discussion about flashlights. just commenting that i liked his and that i also bought one. should we not post our flashlights here when they are accompanied with knives? i know there is another thread for that so wasnt sure if that was a faux pas
