Visiting Fredericksburg, TX. Checking out a few wineries and visiting nearby Enchanted Rock Park.
The manager of the little house we are renting left my wife and I, what I’m sure is, one of the best screw top bottles of wine in Fredericksburg
Couldn’t decide which knife went best with the wine glasses so I took a picture of both.

If you're staying in town, check out Hilda's Tortilla for breakfast tacos (or tacos at any time, really).
Texas Jack on Adams Street has a good selection of western wear and guns. Los Cazadores in Stonewall has a good selection of guns, bows and Benchmade knives.
You'll find that half of the shops in town sell the same selection of t-shirts, hats, and over-priced trinkets, but some hand out free beer so there's a silver lining. Larry Jackson (on San Antonio St) has some genuinely cool art, antiques and precious metals.
Go to Clear River on Main Street for ice cream. Their lunch items are good too.
For wineries, Ron Yates, Becker, and Four Corners are the only ones I'd bother with. But beware, the sheriffs deputies love to snipe everyone they can along 290.
Or do whatever, I'm not a cop.
