One time, when I was a kid, my dad and I were fishing. He used to be a huge fisherman and went all the time and I'd tag along with him sometimes. One time we were Kokanee fishing and I was having all the luck and he wasn't catching anything. We kept poking fun at how I was catching fish and he wasn't. At one point in the day, we were driving the boat to another spot on the lake and a rain cloud came in. In the bow of the boat where I was it was bright and sunny, and in the back of boat, where he wasn't catching anything it had started raining. 🤣 And it was just a little like 14 foot fishing boat.

It's gratifying that he's so pleased with it. He left early this morning, before we were up, to beat any weekend Cape traffic, but sent me this pic from home earlier...

I'm glad I saw yours, DA170 DA170 , and was able to make a couple copies, which made both K and me knives we really like. The RAT's a great platform, even with the S35VN upgrade it's still a helluva bargain, and the Micarta scales and black deep-carry clip were excellent and not expensive add-ons. The Red G10's that came off my knife are great adds to my older AUS8 RAT too.
