You've trained with some really good people. Isn't kuntao basically the Chinese version of Philippines silat? Both very powerful arts..

In the Philippines specifically Mindanao, it is called Kuntaw silat among other names.. I trained in both Filipino and Chinese/Taiwanese Kuntao for most of my earlier training then hooked up with my instructor who was from the Reeders lineage back in the day.. So to speak, I have trained in various versions of kuntao with the Filipino/Taiwanese versions being the foundation of the tool kit that I have... I also studied Kungfu while in Korea, so I had both the southern and northern influences of Kuntao
