EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Sure.
It is a custom slip joint Zulu style knife by Stefan Diedericks @stefand, with the orange G10 handle and a hollow-ground N690 blade.
Very well crafted piece.

Thanks and enjoy the great knife.

LoL Yup I think my thumb has finally healed from the first run of the Hinderer Fulltrack. I was determined to break it in and I lost lol. What a great knife except for the horrible lock stick and or pressure it took to release it.

I was really looking forward to picking up the Fulltrack when I first read about its release....and then a bunch of other knives got in the way lol. Do you know if the lock stick and pressure are common on this model?

Great shot! Now i want an advocate...

Good looking folder! Never would have guessed thats a Boker. How do you like it? I haven't had good luck with Boker Ti liner locks but looks like that model uses ss liners so might be decent?

I actually like it a lot: fills the hand nicely, great slicer (not sure how thin BTE) with its hollow grind, smooth action,....not a fan of the clip (too stiff). Also, when I received it, the liners and parts of the Micarta were a bit sharp. I ended up sanding down those areas and it feels great in hand now. No hot spots either, least not for me.

I believe the problem was”improved” but I also believe in just design even without lock stick they have a tendency to have a very hard lock bar release .
It’s such a shame because I really loved that knife .

Ahh, ok...good to know. I appreciate the feedback!

I have a deep carry clip for my sebenza, but it doesn't look like the same one.

I'm always looking to expand my knowledge, so if you don't mind filling me in on the details of that clip, I'd really appreciate it!
I am kinda trying something out here. It's a clip of "manly" brand knives. It doesn't really fit, but it's sturdy and I can move it a bit to try different angle variations with it.
It's one of the longer clips they have, it's straight, slim and looks like it fits with the theme of the knife.
Most importance to me is how it feels. Some downfalls of deep carry clips I see is it irritates your palm. It's not as nice in your hand as with the standard clips around the butt area of the handle. This is not the case with this clip.
It's really slim and it works.

It feels just great in all the grips and when I extract the knife, everything falls in place beautifully.
I have lots of respect for standard clip, but I see myself enjoying the knife more in this manner.
Maybe I'll file the scales and sink it deeper, but I give these things a long trial period to be really sure it's what I want.
This sebenza has my mothers b-day, it's a gift from wife so I don't plan on selling it.

Nice pic and great tip. Those mtech DOC clips sure could use this soft tape over them
