How do you like the advocate and does it flip decent? Been thinking of grabbing one while theres still some available. I Got that fear of missing out syndrome lol. The refinish looks great!
Mine flips fairly good as a push button, and mines the first gen. I’m sure the second gens are even a little bit better..? I like it a lot better now, Hehe. Won’t kick my Hinderer out though.

How you liking the hills? I've always thought about rocking one as a EDC. It looks like a solid slicer. Does it carry well?

I like the blade shape and stonewash finish. Its very well made and the overall length is good. S35vn with thick blade stock but comes down to about .020" or so bte on my cheapo calipers. Fires hard and a super comfortable handle, not overly thick at about .055, with no hot spots ive noticed. The clip disappears in my hand. It is pretty heavy to me but EDC-able at 5.6oz due to no internal milling. I dont buy many folders over 5 oz especially with a 3.6" blade as i generally prefer thinner lighter knives but i did know that going in. The ergos are excellent though and hand filling. The clip is positioned high up with good spring and not too much poking out the pocket. I took it down and it has polymer caged bearings, i think ceramic but forget now, and thick steel washers behind them. The close action is decent. If it was lighter id probably love it more but i do like it enough to stick around for a while. If you don't mind the heft its a pretty nice folder and affordable for a Reate.

Props to Beard&Owl what a quality belt slip. Carried my Lionsteel Bolus all Day and it was so comfortable and easy to access. Holds the knife with just the right amount of tension nice and snug.
Great craftsmanship !
I have a pocket slip from Beard&Owl and it’s also high quality. These definitely won’t be my last !
