Wow, that's a really interesting scale, looks like it would be great for grip. hows the gen 3 holding up? Looks like it's doing great

Honestly, I've never used that knife. I sharpened it with my Wicked Edge and put it in the pile.
I bought the Gen 3 appr. 5 years ago and when it didn't "tickle my pickle" I sent it off to have the CF scale made.
The scale is probably 3/8 inch thick and though the knife as a whole is asymmetrical, it is very easy to grip when compared to the original grip. I also had the dude make matching lightning-strike plugs (X2) for the clip locations. Here is one installed.
It's an oddity. But, I'm a Reeves guy at heart.
