EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

I was blown away by how incredibly smooth this BT shinkansen is out of the box! definitely the smoothest, most drop shut knife I own including some that cost almost double. own several of their G10 models which also have great action with some tuning but this Ti front flipper is just on another level and fit and finish is up there with the best of them.

IMG_0543.jpg The budget friendly Kershaw induction, while made with humble materials and questionable longevity, does have an aluminum frame and the hawk lock makes for incredible fidget factor. very affordable at 25 bucks shipped on a big auction site and another one I recommend. Very fun folder.

Those Aramis (maybe?) scales look perfect for the Millie. Bet it feels like a completely different knife. Very nice!

Correct/Agree. I have 4 sets of these (XHP, S90V, 204p, Rex 45), made to carry without clip. Feel like different knives, since the scales are 1/4" shorter than stock, better blade to handle ratio (for me). Knives are more robust/rigid, too, since there is a backspacer, and another screw instead of a lanyard. These knives sit perfect against the pocket liner, you wouldn't see that I carry one.

Still breaking in the 187F, and this break-in period is a bear. The whole "no disassembly" thing takes some tools out of my toolbox right away, but from everything I've read after it breaks in this little guy will be just as awesome as my others (which I bought already broken-in).

Whenever my hand needs a break I'm switching back to the Rhino, whose break-in period is "Would you like it if I steadily went from smooth to fantastically smooth? You would? OK, cool." :D
