EDCing the Crooked River?

Yeah, I hear you.
It was for me too......for a little while.
However, they are aluminum and I do like making scales.

No issue with aluminum here. :)

I have been eyeing your scales. This knife would look sexy in some black G10.

Yup, I got rid of the orange on mine.
I love a 710 too, this carries a little bigger than a 710 though.
It's a little longer and just as slim except the pivot area is a tad larger.
Still, it's an easy carry for such a large knife.

Id like to see the ironwood with hidden screw standoffs!

The last handle, which looks like desert ironwood.and probably is,that makes the folder look top notch. Very nice.

Keyman what would the cost be to do that to my crooked river? That ironwood looks fantastic.

That's a good size knife. Looks to be about the same length as a Spyderco Military which is as
big a knife as I'm comfortable carrying at the moment.

It's a hoss. I generally carry a knife the length of a full size grip. Whenever I first opened the knife I thought "HOLY SH*T THIS THING IS BIG!" But after carrying it a few days it's not bad at all.

^^Looks awesome!

I switched the clip on mine to a regular parkerized clip. The standard "split arrow" clip is the worst shape. I do not get why they can't modify that design.

Got mine yesterday with the wood scales. Quite a big knife, but as has been said earlier, it carries much smaller. I won't be carrying it at work (dress pants/suit), but it carries fine in cargo shorts. It isn't cumbersome at all. And it is a hell of a blade, holy smokes I like this knife!

To post an update to anyone wondering about EDCing this wonderful knife; it is my number 1 folder.

Been EDCing the G10 model since it arrived, while it's a large knife it almost carries better than my regular large griptilian because it's so slim. It's a fantastic knife, one of the best benchmade has put out in my opinion. It's up there with the 940 series, 710 and stryker. So comfortable to hold and so much blade but not too much.

Nice picture, I like larger knives.

Sweet! I put on a Ti clip I had left over from a project. Refinished it to match the bolsters. What you guys think?
