Edge of Glory infomercial

So they took two triangle ceramic stones, shoved them together like a puck sharpener, and added a suction cup? Not a completely bad idea, may work alright for most people. The three stroke thing did make me laugh, no freaking way.
 
In the actual commercial I saw on TV before posting this showed him grinding the edge off a knife on a grinder and three strokes later it was slicing sharp again. Ya....right.... lol
 
Great! Thanks to Edge of Glory the TSA will require that we fly with our credit cards in checked baggage only.
 
ummm....you realize that Tungsten Carbide is a ceramic?

That is nothing more than one of those Tungsten Carbide "sharpeners" which tear an edge rather than grinding one.
 
Wouldn't all that "sharpening" of the knives and quickly cutting food right after transfer all that metal dust into the food we're preparing?
 
And how weird was it when it had the 4-way split screen saying it would sharpen "Chefs knives, Filet knives, Pairing and Peeling knives." Uh, do you mean "Paring" knives, or are you talking about knives that pair up and reproduce or something? And it goes by fast, but the "Pairing" knife is a freaking Ulu, not a paring knife.
