First post here in a while -- I used to post under a different name quite a few years ago. Anyway, I just wanted to post about my recent experience with Edge Pro, Inc. (http://www.edgeproinc.com). I've owned one of their Apex sharpeners for a number of years and while it always gets my knives scary sharp (and I mean SCARY!), I always managed to get little scratches on the blade perpendicular to the edge. I don't know why it took me so long, but I finally e-mailed Edge Pro about the issue. I wasn't sure what response I'd get, if any, but the next day, Ben Dale, the owner of the business, returned my e-mail with a detailed explanation of several ways to avoid the issue I was having. This is a business I'll be supporting from now on. The only negative thing I have to say about the Edge Pro is that it works so well my mother-in-law makes me sharpen all her kitchen knives.
