He's had my money for 4 weeks. I have no burner parts, no regulators , and no hoses. Cancelled my order 6 days ago. No word, no communication, no parts and he got my money. Cashed my check on March 10. This sux
Don't they have phones and internet service in Knoxville anymore????

Bruce , I read that Karen said there was a death in the family here recently . My sympathy goes out to them but I also agree business should still be taken care of while managing everything else . It is tuff . Been there , done that .
 
yep! too old for putting up with this BS.
I guess integrity, honesty and honor has disappeared . No wonder this country is in such bad shape!!
 
how the hell didnt couldnt you have had them shipped to you if they had time to cash a check at the bank????????? i mean really that just aint right. i have had good dealings with them but this situation just isnt fair ....just mmy 2cents
 
Burners and regulators were delivered yestersay. One week after I cancelled my order. 2 weeks after the start of classes.
I finally sparked a response on Friday when I said I would bring this all out into the public eye. I got an "automated" response stating my order had been shipped Wednesday. What??
Too bad this works out this way. I have 9 guys wishing to purchase burners and refrac.
My monetary loss by replacing the ordered burners/regulators , etc. is nothing compared to the loss the Ellis will suffer by poor business practices.
 
They seem like very good folks, but that is no way to run a business. The slow shipping and little to no communication has been going on for a while and will hurt their business. Probably already has.

I've dealt with them in person and thay are nice folks. Just greedy, I guess and in the habit of taking their customers for granted. And that will end up biting them in the butt!
 
i'm glad i seen this thread. i was going to get a small bag of satenite for my forge from them but i'm not sure now. maybe if he is willing to ship first and let me pay when the package arrives.
