Embark on a new snark

Pretty sweet, I've wanted to try the Potbelly and the rest of the JAB line but don't really have a use for any of them...Plus I feel really knifed out, new blades don't really take my interest anymore...I think something's wrong :D...

Thanks fellas,

I actually dont even have a potbelly. See i was suppose to get one on a trade but it never ended up happening. A certain person agreed to a trade and then I asked the Tommy to make the scales for me, then the same day the guy with the potbelly backed out. But i already gave my word on the Bocote scales, So i could not just back out, I wouldn not have felt right about it. So i have scales coming that go to a knife i dont have lol.

But eventually ill get one. My bank account just took a huge hit with the NMFSH, and chopweiler so i have to recover a little now lmao

How's it going Daizee?

'sup, AC?
Doin' a little landlubbin' out here. Came home in time for PERFECT weather, oh yeah.

Hey Dubz, we picked up a spyglass off the bottom of a shipwreck last month, looked a lot like that - except decayed acreted, and generally beat to death after 150+ years on the bottom of the Gulf. Can't wait 'til T-A&M finishes the conservation and dates the artifacts to identify (if possible) the wrecks.

I have to admit I used to order mine medium well but then I turned 12 and realized that a little blood on the plate is a good thing.:D
Wipe its ass and walk it past the fire. Well done! :D

I've been eating rare and raw beef my entire life and have never gotten sick from it. WildCat (rich folks call it steak tartare) is one of the finest delicacies I've ever enjoyed. I'm not recommending it, so don't sue me, please. Just sayin'.

No avacado? No Mayo? No rare steak? Next you'll be telling us you don't like guns or alcohol.

Off to the quote thread with you!

I wouldn't drown a cat in a jar of mayo.

Neither would I; it's not very nice for the cat and more importantly, it makes the mayo all furry. :barf:

I put hot sauce on everything.

I tend to throw a bit of salt and hot sauce on almost everything at home. However, when someone else has cooked for me, I like to taste it the way they made it... both as a gesture of respect and to try to learn from what they're doing. We don't go to restaurants often, but the last couple times we did (Peerless in K-town and Papadeaux in ATL) the food didn't need anything at all... it was great just the way they brought it to us.

Incidentally, remind me to have Miss Angie write down her latest recipe for pickled eggs and share it with y'all... they're stunning. The brine involves apple cider vinegar instead of regular white vinegar.

That's awesome.

I have a coin jar, and I busted it out a few days ago, to find I had $120 in it. Sweet. So, I treated myself to another knife, haha. Been wanting an ESEE Candiru for some time now, and I couldn't pass up a brand new one, with scales for $55 shipped. Very cool little blade, and very comfortable as well:

So, I just picked up a Mike Snody Personal Boss.

Actually I picked it up a month ago and he just got around to shipping it. Ironically he shipped it the day I asked for my money back... The knife is, alright. He heated up the paracord wrap after wrapping it which I'm not that fond of. It feels... odd. It feels like twine which I don't really like. I'll probably end up rewrapping it myself.

Anybody else going squirrel hunting in the morning. I'm getting up early and heading to Diesel D's house to bust some bushy tails. It will be great to take a breather and get in the woods. Hope he's got some coffee for the mornig and beer for...........well, late morning! :D

"Morning" is a relative term.

I say that because I'm taking off work for a week and I'm about to head to MI and sit my ass down by a lake and not do a thing until it is time to pack up and head back to work....
OK - Maybe I'll take a break from that to do a bit of kayaking on Lake MI or the Black River.

A fine haul indeed there Dubz.

Damn. Barlow looks good. My ass is wore out, but we are HOME.

Sorry I missed your call. I was in the middle of a 3-hour meeting. I did try to get the REI number to you though. Hope it came through.

I think that was Robert's number. It sure as hell wasn't REI, but thanks anyway. :D

I think you just got a guy at the counter who liked your voice. Did he ask if you liked skinny dipping and tent parties?

Heck, Dubz.... I'd be happy to call that a successful year.
Haha, I hear that. First time in a bit I got any new steel. I've been a good boy, and haven't been using my credit card, so I thought, wtf, I'm getting a new knife, hence the BOB. Then, 1066vik gifted me that awesome Bush monkey blade. Then I won the Hunt Hornet in a contest, and cashed my change in, and got the Candiru. Fun getting the new steel in.
