Your collection is quite stunning Iceman, those are some great pictures. Of course, it helps when you have photogenic subjects.

Thanks Anthony! I could wish to improve on the photos, I'd love to take more of an "environmental portrait" for each CRK I own. But the area I live in just doesn't have the best views. Lol.

I was so swamped with work this week that I eventually decided to take a break and admire this beauty.. and also took these quickie iPhone snaps... 
Any pixel peepers here? Was curios to see a closer look at the damascus and amboyna.. so, took some photos under a scope.. lol

I was lazily browsing the bay one Friday night and chanced upon a 1999 Regular Sebenza w/ Blued Damascus. I immediately got in touch with the seller and asked all the standard questions and then sent out my best offer. Seller obliged and even told me that he can meet me and bring some more pieces so that I could check them out.
Before he arrived, I already decided to get the knife that was posted as it's pretty rare for these blued damascus to come up for sale, if any at all. We had a little chat while I was checking the knife out. We agreed at a price and closed the deal.
At that time, I was totally oblivious of the other CRK piece he brought with him due to the fact that I was mesmerized by the Blue Damascus. I did not even notice it was already on the table. I closed the blue damascus and proceeded to store it in it's original packaging to ensure it is safe. I then went about and opened the "zip-locked" Large Regular just to check it out.
When I saw that it was UG and proceeded to opened the knife, all I remember thinking was... Uh oh... My wife is gonna kill me. Did some haggling and eventually ended up with both Small and Large UG Sebenza on that one night. I have to say that it was one of the best Friday I've had in a loooooong time...
and at the end of it all, I've convinced the seller to join the CRK BF family. And he has been selling and buying CRKs here ever since... Thanks Santana!
