"Embrace The Suck" This Saturday (4-5-08) Special Mil. Overrun!!!!!!

Hey Boss,

THis is a real tan/tan?

We still got tan coating?

or is it desert sage?

Not questioning......just drinking:D

the GIN:thumbup:

I am in anyway....just curious;)

Are the handle slabs contoured/textured, or just flat slabs?

It's hard to tell in that photo.

Thanks!

The handles are cleary textured, like a standard SJTAC.:thumbup:

The blades are 3/16" thick and are convex beveled for greater strength. The coating is Desert Olive. The Desert Olive coating is MUCH more durable than the original desert tan. . . . The handles are textured tan canvas and are much more rounded than the pic indicates. . . . The handles shown were shaped for a straight on pic only and were not completely finished. :D

Killer blades!

Sorry, I'm a new member. What's the link to get it? Thanks.

Jerry will post the ordering instructions on Saturday. It'll tell you everything you need to know. You'll just have to send an e-mail saying how many you want. But it's a race to get your e-mail in at the right time.

You'll have to sit at your computer between 9:00 to 10:00 p.m. Eastern time and wait for Jerry to post the "Go" on this site (and/or the Busse Combat Knife discussion forum - it'll get posted on both).

So basically you get to spend your Saturday evening sitting in front of your computer refreshing the screen every few seconds, and if you do that, you'll probably be rewarded with the opportunity to buy the knife.

do we know what the asking price is going to be for these?

The original SJTAC was $247. I imagine these would be something pretty close to that. But we wonn't know for sure until Jerry posts the ordering instructions and price Friday or Saturday.

Jerry,

Thanks for the info on the handle slabs -- they looked a little... FLAT to me.

I LOVE the contouring and texturizing on the standard handles on my ASH-1!

No price announced yet - Jerry will do that some time before purchases open up. I suspect there might be a bump up from the SJTAC run, since this is a charity 'Ganza.
