Agreed, good Dr. Very nice lines. How are you liking the operation of the bearings and the frame lock? How does it compare to a smooth/ broken in traditional Emerson?

Out of the box smooth as can be. It may be just a tad smoother than my WELL worn in jungle commander. I am really liking the frame lock as well. Locks up solid and absolutely no stickiness at all.

I can't compare it to the other hd knives that don't have the steel insert though.

2008 EDC Tanto. 3rd pic is with a 2014 CQC-15. Notice the thicker locking liner on the EDC Tanto which is from 2008. Scales are nice and thick too at .149" vs .114" on the CQC-15.
