Canucks? What? Also, my point was just simply that they have a good reputation enough that large organizations trust them with their life. Was just an example to prove a point sir.
I am just unclear on what point that proves. It proves that the handful of people who actually make agency purchases have certain beliefs, but it doesn't mean that there should be some functional expectation of quality in the real world.
If anything, it means the reputation that Emerson created is so good that it gets sales in unlikely places, not that the other way around. If AARP starts offering Emerson discounts, it doesn't mean they make the perfect knife for seniors.

That was the question lol. I know they have a myth/legend about them, and are well liked by some large organizations... But I wanted to know people personal experience and thoughts on Emerson.

That seems like an excellent reason to use the search feature and the reviews section.
Unless you don't want to know what people think of their individual knives and want to know what people think of a bunch of stuff that has little to do with a knife being functional and well made. The purchasing habits of the Ontario police will not tell you if the majority of Emerson buyers have QC issues.
