Emerson Tiger

OM, you're making it really hard for me to not spend any money! I just bought a couple of plane tickets and while I could afford a Tiger, I rather not be eating rice and beans until next payday ;)

Looking Good OM! I can't believe you got your so fast! I ordered mine on Thursday and it's still not here yet. OH! It's driving me crazy!! LOL!!!

nice. These need to sell out right now so I can stop thinking about it, or not sell out until my budget has some slack in it ;)

The Tiger is a linerlock. Single detent like most linerlocks. It has 2 large Nylatron washers. Comes equipped with 4 standoffs instead of a backspacer. Cutting edge is a gradual curve as stated by Mr Emerson with no flat sections. Slicer!

...and I'll add that it has a higher primary bevel (= more acute/sharper) than many of my similar sized Emersons and a very sharp secondary (edge) bevel. This is easily the sharpest out-0f-the-box Emerson I've had the privilege of unboxing (not had a zero-grind full custom yet). Through phonebook paper it is virtually silent, and can effortlessly make itybitty curlyque springs on 20# copier paper. Very sharp.

Is the Tiger available through dealers as well? All I'm seeing on the Emerson site is black blade.

Yikes... I was thinking about pulling the trigger on one but it looks like the stonewashed is out of stock? What an awesome design!

I saw that too, Wharn. I would really like a stone- washed blade.
I guess I will have to wait for the next run -- but that will give me time to save up some money for it!

If there's a next run. These are Special Run models said to have only 120 pieces made and that's it.
