( Joe )I'll try to make more sence . I recently made a deal with ssmith we agreed on my CFpm2 plus $100 for his Slysz Bowie.
With one condition he will ship the Slysz before I send my PM2
That said I had to send him $100 via PayPal good and service. I agreed to this deal not knowing that he had a deal with someone else.

Come Sunday my son hand me the box that came in . The box was very light so I told my son this guy thinks he can scam me .i opened the box and there was no knife . The box had a pen and something that looks like a knife pouch.

I sent him a couple of emails and text to no response . I sent him one last night with a link to the other post he then responded by saying he will send me the money today and will ship the other member his ZT . Not sure how true this is but that's what he said on the text.

My only question is whether you made a deal before you knew he was a scammer or after. If before well at least you covered all your bases. If anything it may even help out the other member who got screwed by this guy.

Now if it was after.. Well that leaves me speechless.
 
Seems like English isn’t this guys first language. But I’m withyou guys it was hard to read. If putting it together he’s another victim of smith571. Which in the link provided by the op to another rip off thread seems to be smiths business practices. Smith571 did leave his number to contact him on his profile though 402-599-9977 which was super nice of him.
 
You may have a fight on your hands with paypal proving the box was "empty". You sent him $100, he sent an empty box with USPS tracking, tracking shows it was delivered. How does paypal know that YOU are not the scammer? Just saying, it may not be as easy as you think to recover your $100 even if you paid with G&S.

When you made your deal with him, did you already know he scammed someone else? If so, that wasn't the most brilliant move in your life.
 
It seems to me that me and this member got scammed around the same time. He emailed me seeming to suggest my not posting negative feedback(I tried, by the way, but the thread URL isn’t going through to allow me to finish the feedback), was what got him ripped off. But, I just found out I was scammed maybe one day before he got his package in the mail so I don’t know what the issue is

When I try using a url to post feedback on my phone its invalid because there's no "www." Add www. After the http// and it should fix your problem assuming you're having the same issue.

However he shouldn't be a member much longer if he's pulling this BS
 
english is my second language plus spell check on the i phone plus frustration = terrible writing. Lol

I'll try to fix it later . But in short no knife in the box .

I have text from him saying he will refund me the money . Not sure if he will but if he used that number to open the account that should be my proof.

No I didn't know about his dealings .

Sorry bud I was just trying to see why you didn't post a negative feedback . I was in no way blaming you for what happened . Not your fault I apologize if I came across as blaming you for what happened

And I'm the other guy OP mentioned in his post. I tried trading my ZT 801 ti with custom hardware in exchange for ssmith571's slysz Bowie. The Bowie was going to be a gift for my dad for Christmas because it's my favorite knife, he recently had a debilitating stroke so even if it wasn't much it was sentimental. Upon talking to the guy he shared he was prior service and shared with me where he was stationed. Me being active duty stationed at Hunter Army Airfield I felt comfortable trading on good faith with him. I went out of my way to ship it with signature confirmation as well and everything. Today what came in the mail was an empty envelope. I'm extremely disheartened not that I lost my money and my knife but that I couldn't get my dad what I was planning on getting him. I urge everyone who reads this to be cautious and not follow the path I took. I feel at a loss for what to do. I have all of his contact information and will be filing a mail fraud claim with usps. Beyond that i just want everyone to be carful out there.

Miltmado if you'd like to contact me directly I can use your information about what happened to you to file a court claim. We likely won't be reimbursed but it could go a long way in making this guy pay for deceiving others.
 
I will be doing the same I have all information and I have text with him saying he will return my money . I will also like to wait and see what PayPal have to say about refunding my money .
 
Miltmaldo If you don't mind I'll be direct messaging you this week so that the usps case becomes stronger. I'll also be filing a police report for his area and see what can be done with that.
