My normal goodies on a daily basis , not counting my bag.

Heavy duty carabiner with more keys than I have any desire to carry (no I'm not a janitor , I just forgot what most of 'em go to and am too lazy to take them off , plus they would make a nice indent on some fools noggin'.

Hey Rebel, I was looking for a Photon Micro light all this week an no one here has them. I settled for a not so bad knockoff which also has an ultraviolet light function in it. I was wondering how you like yours, if you know the lumens it puts out and is it waterproof?

Most of you are going to laugh, but this is my actual EDC.

It all fits in the pockets of my cargo pants or on my belt. And it is packed well enough that you'd never suspect I was carrying anything unusual.

Do you really need to carry a pistol every day? Where do you work, Dodge City?

you need to carry it because you can

if no one carries them the government will ban carrying them, then they will make it harder to get a license just to own one, then they will ban them all together

If you need an illustration of that look at the UK, 100 years ago you could carry a pistol, after WW1 people stopped so they banned carrying them, then they made it harder and harder to get a license, then they banned them all together.

My apologies, but I fail to see the logic in your reasoning.

If anyone here does see the logic, feel free to jump in and elucidate things.

That's an argument for the Political Arena, not here. For here, suffice it to say if you don't carry it every day it'll be the day you don't carry it that you'll need it, for a gun just as for everything else in your loadout. The difference is you might only need the gun one day in your life, but when you need it you'll need it.

It would be nice if crime only occurred in Dodge City. As you read today's newspaper count up how many crimes wouldn't have happened if the victims had been armed.

"Most of you are going to laugh, but this is my actual EDC."

3 lights (at least)
3 knives (one SAK and 2 kudda maax)

how many hands do you have?:D
I see only one gun, what would happen in case of misfunction?
You should buy a small .22 or .32 ... just in case !

yep, i find it a bit "too much" for my personnal taste, but you carry it, so if it's not too heavy for you, after all, that's your problem!:)

two questions: i understand having one big knife and one small...
But why 2 bigs and one small?
What's the blue tube, a paperspray?

thanks for posting the pic!

It must be nice to live in a place where you can be certain you will never be faced with violence.

I view carrying a firearm the same way I do wearing a seatbelt. I don't really expect to be in an accident, but I still take the precaution every time I get into a car.

One big (Aftermath) is for general utility. The other (Madd Maxx) has a Talonite blade and is kept clean for use with food.

As you guessed, the blue tube is a Fox Labs keychain pepper spray. I like to have a non-lethal defensive option in addition to the handgun.

Also, one of the things that probably looks like a flashlight is actually a Zeiss Mini Quick 5x10 monocular.

Sorry olaf , didnt see this thread for a while.

I have a few Photon knockoffs and they work fine. The Photon I have I like a lot , it's green light and works fine for what I use it for. It's been on my keyring for about 3 years and been thrown , dropped , knocked etc and still works like a champ and still using original battery. Ive dropped my keys in the rain gutter before and it still works so I assume it is waterproof as well.
Best of all I git it for free from a Midori rep when I managed a nightclub. :D

Bob, a couple of questions if I may:

1 What's that round black thing next to the pepper spray?

2 The Zeiss Mini Quick is left of the Arc and Pen? how good is it? I need a small optic for work sometimes and the cheap Tasco 8x21 binos that I currently use are no where near bright enough.

Sony Ericsson P910 Organizer/mobile phone in Nite-Ize carrier with another swisscard, Mag Solitaire, Condom (strawberry flavour!;) ), Carbon fibre spike/pda stylus, & Dust mask.
Surefire E2D in Surefire beltpouch

On large split ring key:- car keys, house keys, Comtech Stinger, Spy capsule holding £20 note, Swisstech Utilikey, Steel Dogtag in rubber silencer (1 edge sharpened), Photon-style light, Green glowring.

I Would conceal-carry a Short if it was legal. I rather like the old Browning 9mil actually, or something up to date like a Sig or USP. But fat chance, in this country you cant even (legally!) carry a baton.

Make sure you defend your right to bear arms, most governments would, Im sure, like its citizens UNARMED.

Part One

I try to keep a minimalist approach to what's in my pockets.

Typical Array of the Contents of My Pockets:

Wallet: My wallet (Coach) is minimalistic. Small...Compact...Can I carry less (maybe, but not by much)? In there are my driver's license, Visa, American Express, several business cards, concealed pistol permit, proof of auto insurance, and a couple pictures of my kids (oh, I do carry a handkerchief...not shown).

Keys: My key ring can be minimalistic. As you can see, it's put together with a carabinner. At any time, I can separate what I need and leave the rest. If I'm driving my car, I pop off my key and have a small "footprint" in my front pocket. If I need to carry it all, the carabinner easily clips to a belt guide on my pants. On that key ring is a Gold TiNi SOG CrossCut sheathed in one of Eric's (of On/Scene Tactical) MicroRigs. While taking the pictures, I thought I'd do a close up of the key which cranks up my "soul" (my Nissan 300ZX key). It gives me a religious experience every time!

Money Clip: My leather money clip (Fossil) holds closed by magnets. I usually carry $50-100 in there. Pictured behind "the key."

Knives: I do rotate around 10 knives through my pockets. Two of my favorite are the Microtech LCC and the William Henry 12CF.

Due to a restriction on the number of images per post, this post is split into a "part one" and a "part two."

Part Two

Handguns: I carry a handgun as often a possible. Due to size, I carry my Glock 27 the most (by far), but my SigPro 2340 does occasionally go on duty.

Watches: My MEDC (most every day carry) watch is an Omega Seamaster Professional. Other key watches are the Oris XXL (pictured), Oris Radius, Luminox Titanium SEAL, Luminox Captains, a few Seikos. This is down from 17 about a year ago.

PDA: I do carry a PDA (a old model, but functional) by HP (model h1910). It does serve its purpose. But I'll be upgrading soon.

Cellphone: Then there's my cell phone from the world's worst cell phone company...Nextel. January 28th...and I'll be free to return to Verizon.

Lint: Now, something I didn't see anyone claim to be resident in their pockets....POCKET LINT! I obviously have a problem.

Also, it's good to see the Cougar Allen, the "sherrif," walking the beat, keeping all you guys in line. He's one of the good guys!
