When I say "Rodent" I mean the R4, R9, etc ... the one with the finger bump on the bottom side of the handle.

The Rodent handle design (excluding the R6) is a lot like the A2 pistol grip on a M4 Carbine. IF you have the exact hand size, and hold style required by the placement of the "bump" you're okay. If you're not an "exact fit" then it sort of sucks.

I like pistol grips without finger bumps.
I like knives without them too.

edit to add: oh crap, its a holiday weekend, I think Im looking at tuesday delivery. Unless I get really lucky, which I hope I do.

Man that Ratweiler really pops. Love that color combo. Usually averse to orange/black but that hammered silver BG Trail Scalpel looks good. That's a pretty sweet bag. What is the black one?

Yep--looks like a BG SOS; cool smaller fixie; I have a Trash 2, stripped and put to use... man, that thing bits like a Great White. And for such a big blade to come in under a pound is pretty darn impressive; it makes belt carry a real option.

Very true, and yet those Rodent 7/9 handles are just a grinder and some sanding away from a magnum SAR4/6/8 grip on an otherwise stout piece of SR101.

I love the rodent 9, 6, and 4. hump, no hump. I was able to pick up a 9 and 6 at the Columbus show when Jerry had themguy represent. Wish they would do them again...in our home state.
