I want to know what your opinions are for what is your favorite. Right now im carrying a Delica 4 and its good but i want something bigger a recently acquired a NIB Endura 4 super blue i thought id love it but the ergo just not right for me. Im looking to trade it for a Stretch in super blue or hap40. So does the Stretch fit better in a bigger hand? I should have know that since i have had others Endura's. What are your opinions on the stretch?

I have regular sized hands and the Stretch fits me quite well. There's not a lot of real estate left at the end so if you have very large hands it could be a bit small? Anyway, the Stretch is one of those knives that didn't feel just right when I first picked it up but after carrying it and using it for awhile it has probably become my favorite Spyderco folder.

Thanks for the input my hands are large i would say but my problem with the Endrua is i have wide fingers so that first choil is just a little too small and thats where my problem is.

I had both I wear a large glove and I prefer the stretch, but my pm2 beats it out of the pocket most of the time

The pm2 is just a tad to small too without using the 50/50 finger choil. Is it the same size as the pm2 handle? or a bit larger?

The Stretch has a smaller handle and a smaller handle groove than the Endura. I just did a side by side comparison. Looking at the the Stretch next to the PM2, the Stretch may have a bit longer hand accommodation. I m surprised.
I have medium sized hands and never have a problem with any of the handles if they are 4 inches or longer.

Awesome thanks for the pictures it does appear to be a bit bigger looks about perfect for what im looking for.
Thanks Krav

Its not alot but my pinky finger bits into the handle of the pm2 a bit but it looks to me as the stretch has a bit more restate.

Wow that's saying a lot! I thought from reading some of your posts you preferred the Delica.

I prefer the PM2 over the Stretch. My hand is just a tad smaller than yours and fits nicely on the handle of both knives. So I've never noticed that the Stretch has more real estate, but that appears to be the case. There's no doubt it feels much more comfortable and controllable than the Endura IMO.

I have largish hands and find the Stretch very comfortable. I believe the Stretch 2 might have a bit more room IIRC, but have never actually handled one.

I like Stretch better than PM2 as the G10 feel boxy while the FRN is so comfortable.
Used to be Endura guy, until I picked up a Stretch.
Now I carry both ;)
My hand is medium to small if US size is used (I'm Asian).

I always thought of the stretch as a more refined Endura. The Endura has a funky blade-to-handle transition with a bunch of mismatched lines while the Stretch flows much more freely. They are very similar knives but I see no need for an Endura in my collection since I got a Stretch.
I wear a size large or XL glove and find the Stretch to be an excellent fit in my hand. Much better than the old Endura.

I still love the Delica and Pacific Salt, but.... I bought the Stretch 6 months ago just as an excuse to get some more hap40. It grew on me really quickly and I have a hard time choosing my other folders over it for edc now...even the Deica and pm2.

Compared to the pm2 the Stretch has about 1/8" more room at the butt before the bump. Also, the Stretch has smoother curves and is less restrictive about finger placement than the endura. I find the front groove of the endura a bit small for two fingers and I end up riding the ridge. No problem with the stretch. I think you'll be fine with the model.

Medium sized hands here, Stretch is my favorite and I don't even like choils. Just enough handle that is wider than a D4/E3 and a nice thin long blade.

I couldn't agree more about the first grove thats my main reason for starting the thread is to see if the stretch fit better and from what everyone's said the stretch has the better ergo's.

Thanks for everyone's input and or anyone else who feels like having there opinion be heard .

Me too, sold my HAP40 Endura and bought the HAP40 Stretch (my fifth Stretch). The Native has the same problem for me too. The first groove is too big for one and too small for two.
