Have you asked any? The consensus that I've been given by those I know is that any knife is just a knife / tool until its on a criminal. If you're not doing anything with the knife that's illegal, it's not going to raise any eyebrows.

I've handled the pm2 and just don't care for it. The ZT550 is at the top of my list, however. Just need to clear the funds through the account manager!

DJ lives in/around Chicago - all sensible bets are off, just like living in NYC. Nevermind the actual laws.
 
I have to respectfully disagree. When I lived up there I carried a Spyderco Police open carry on my hip when taking the train to and from work. Several cops asked me about it. None hassles me.
 
Well, I just came in from the shop for a shower, sh!t, and shave. Had a real rough night last night. Don't know what the problem was but my eyes where wide open all night. Got up about 2:30 am went out to the shop and watched the snow fall. Finally fell asleep about 6:30 am. Got back up went to the shop to work. Now cleaning up to go to a funeral then a X-mas part AFTER X-mas. Talk about the whole range of emotions, then throw exaustion on top of it. Oh, well, maybe get some zzzzzz's tonight. Tommarrows a new day.
 
Don't worry Hunt, there's always good old whisky if you can't catch some z's tonight. Thought after the day you have planned I imagine you'll be asleep before your head hits the pillow.

Dye worked great! It took like 2 hours and I reheated the dye and rinsed the scales like 5 times. It looks kind of like a faded, worn black. As of now you can't see any of the digicam pattern, a little worried some will emerge after it gets some wear but I guess I can just do another dye job on it. I'll throw up a picture tomorrow, GF took the camera for the day.
 
CB, USPS says I have a package due to arrive in a few hours, can't wait! I am selling a couple folders today to make room/finances for the new baby so this will soften the sting a little. I'm selling my Leek and my Mini-Barrage to a friend, the Leek I won't miss too much but the Mini-Barrage I will miss a bit.

even amazon prime is taking a week this time of year... nothing happens the last 3 weeks of the year... except patience ;)

i just spoke with Mr Greybush; he hasn't been on the net himself at all these last 2 weeks... his activity thingy might have showed active a few times, but that's because his tablet is set to BF as his homepage, and one of his kids gets ahold of it to watch movies... so... yeah.

long story short he's got some stuff going on, and he's going to be on forum hiatus for a while... has some good reasons. not for me to say.

packages: those of you with paid orders in and been waiting, will have your stuff sent out Tuesday the 1st, as he's packing everything up today, and throwing in generous extras as he can for messing up... you'll probably like it. just passing the word along.

so write him a note if you like, otherwise, he'll be back when he can
 
So I know it costs more than 3 times what a BK9 does and the tactical cardboard sheath it comes with sucks and you have to wait forever to get one, but damn its one sexy knife :D

hows the handle on it? I'm not 100% on the ergos from the looks of it.
 
Well I cant argue with their rep, and I really do dig the blade shape, aggressive and combat oriented but still elegant and purposeful.
 
Shoot!! Missed usps drop off of my package from Hunt!!! Now I gotta wait til Monday to go pick it up!!
