So as you all now I’ve been waiting for my M-18 to arrive…..

After I get home I opened the womb…

I slowly get into the belly and pull out the uterus…

I start to slice open the uterus…

It came out breach so I had to work fast..

So, I can get a knife shaving sharp easy with my work sharp, edge pro, or sharpmaker, but doing it freehand has always eluded me................until just a few minutes ago!! I got my 15 shaving hairs off my arm pretty darn good. I completely re-worked the edge freehand and after finishing on a fine Arkansas stone it would shave hairs off my arm pretty easily. After a minute with the strop it was just popping the hairs off my arm. Probably not a big deal for some of the guys here, but I'm pretty pumped about it.

Congrats! It is extremely satisfying to be able to put a good edge on a knife freehand.
Just wait until you get your first freehand hair whittling edge!

Nice! If you have the money I highly reccomend a spyderco UF ceramic for a finishing stone.

Well, last night was a wash. The baby's sick, but the woman allowed me some yard time at Todd's. About 4 hours in over there, not much work on my part and half a bowl of his wife's wonderful soup I got a call. Christina was getting run over by the kid being sick and I had to leave.
