Aaaaargh. Xmas tomorrow and I still have no idea what to get my dad. He's 75 and doesn't do much but play bingo and go to the casino and play slot machines. I always struggle with finding him a gift. Any suggestions?

No suggestions wildcat. That's a hard one to field. My wife just got something for my day today and we drew the same blank. Ended up with a shirt.

In other news. Been busting my ass to get the Christmas rush knife orders out. Got stiffed on two high dollar knives. The customer ordered them, bugged the hell out of me about when they'd be done. Then got them done, called him and he let them set here. Wouldn't return calls or texts, finally got a hold of him tonight and he was all pissy. Had a attitude. Told me to keep them. I don't understand why poeple do that kind of crap. Hope he feels good about himself. That was grocery money.

Just a guess, but people often over-extend at Christmas and then don't want to own up to responsibilities.
That's exactly why I PM'ed you about the M-18. I wanted to be ready to pay you if it was ready to go.
If he's a BFC member, you ought to write up his ass in GB&U. That forum is not just for buyers IMO.

He's not a member here. At least I don't think he is. Its really not my style to name drop. I feel like what comes around goes around. But damn, that really REALLY pisses me off! I've sold a lot of knives in the last few months, and just about all of them have been really good experiences, really sucks to have something go bad and have somebody out there pissed at you when you depend on this for income to help support your family. I guess you'll never make everybody happy.

I don't understand why he has any right to be angry, unless you told him they'd be ready back in January.
 
It is a tactic a lot of salesmen use I know. They get angry at the customer to try to make them feel bad. He might have been trying to do the same thing to our thaddeus here to get a discount on his knives.

He's mad he said because one of the knives I did take a while on. But everytime id talk to him about it, he'd tell me not to worry about it. To take my time he was in no hurry. In the meantime he kept on ordering knives. I couldn't keep up with him. Finally got 2 of the big hitters out of the way and now he don't want to do business. Good riddence as far as I'm concerned. Just don't like unhappy customers. But I'm not gonna do anymore work for him so I guess he's not really a customer anymore.

Thanks Jared. Keep a eye on my subforum. They will probably end up for sale there after Christmas.

His eyes got bigger than his wallet, and Xmas has a way of making that hit home. Screw him. Post 'em up, and they'll sell. You should post them in The Exchange.

Screw him Todd. If this guy wants to be a douche about this, that's his problem.

I'm with CB on this. Post the pics and let some other folks buy the stuff.
 
Anybody know what size pack cover I would need for a MAP 3500? I'm thinking a small?
