There appears top be some for sale on GECs own website for those who missed out.

I was able to add one to cart as a test for you.

#871223 English Jack - Indian Paint Brush Jigged Bone

Did you mean right from gec factory

Have they done that before, they have the Jonny on the spot slips for sale,I have a charlie 35 camp coming, can't call it a Jonny on the spot,or can I.

I am confused I thought GEC where hard to get hold of and sold in minutes?

They have just added this one as well.

That's what I always heard.

Southington Cutlery of Connecticut over Wm Elliot, apparently a NY wholesaler owned by a German. This is a German knife.

The Southington can't be newer than 1914, the Elliot can't be newer than 1918.
The Elliot is over 4" closed, but Levine 2 says "Slim, regular, or sleeveboard" jack, and this is an equal-end.

1911-1921 Robeson 622119.

shown with 3.625 inch closed c.1947 4 line Camillus EO Jack/"Navy knife" for size comparison.
(any military/Government blade etch it may have had was long gone before I got the knife.)

Wostenholm invented that bolster at the Washington Works, Sheffield, if I'm not mistaken!!
No.6 Washington Street is in Sheffield!!

The Washington Bolster was NOT named after this guy!!! 🤣 View attachment 2413983
Sorry for the very late intervention Charlie! 😁 Washington Works wasn't on Washington Street, Sheffield doesn't have one, (it has a Washington ROAD, linked to Wostenholm, but that's in the suburbs). Washington Works was on Fitzwilliam Street 👍
Hey Jack, I bought some Jacks yesterday.

I call them Big Jacks because they are BIG.

Sorry for missing this too John! 😁 Nice haul my friend :) The first knife I ever bought, while on a school trip, was one of those Richards big jacks! 😁👍

Thanks, Jack!

Keep on keeping us honest!!!

The English Jack thread has so many missing pictures, I thought I'd start a new one!!
I refer back to the old one for intellectual content!!
( English Jack Extravaganza )
Here are a couple of knives that may be described as English Jacks, well over 4" in length!!

Cams two 1.jpg

Cams two 2.jpg

Both from Camillus, the upper barehead one has Washington Bolsters, and a curved stamp on the pen blade!! The slightly larger capped knife has Rattail Bolsters, and the "Sword Brand" etch is still visible!! 4 3/8" and 4 5/8" respectively!!
I just realized we have taken this thread off the tracks, from English jacks which were lengthy like your pictures we have become a jack thread lol.
