...Rather than give up [for repair] a long-awaited "special" that may or may not be any better when received back from Buck...

i got two of the 110dp and almost cancled on the2ed as i did not like the fit and finish of the first real well at all
but the 2ed is a joy to behold!!! so i will likely sell or trade the one for what i want some time ... like i will be getting rid of a five thirty one soon to get some more gold etch and cut outs .... got that buck gold feaver!!! and that is verrry bad on the wifes balance sheet!

Well, sorry I can't remember every eBay name that appears in the auctions that I am interested in. If it makes you feel any better, you can have the knife for what I paid for it. If it is as nice as the person selling it said it was, then it was going into MY collection. I don't intentionally step on anyones toes in this forum. Yes, it happens, but we collect the same items. Again I am sorry for upsetting you.

Pappykacks has one listed on eBay right now so you can bid on that one and I will stay away from it! Hopefully I didn't upset you too much this time. I will only bid against you if it is something I need or want in my own collection. I am sure I won't forget your eBay name now! I will give forum members a little price break on my knives for sale if I can.

Hey Guys!
I gotta be honest! I have bought from Arksknives in the past.
On a few occasions I have emailed him about a discount. As long as I did it before I used buy it now he always did give me the discount in the invoice.
Knives were always great also. One time we were both bidding on a TRU BLU fillet. (before I knew about Bladeforums) and I got lazy and he outbid me.
I then noticed said knife list in his store a few weeks later. I emailed him because I knew what the knife sold for and he did give me the discount when I finally purchased the Trublu from him then. Given the way ebay is set up I think its bound to happen (getting outbid by fellow collector) Heck yesterday or today Tattoo7.62X39??? Just outbid me... I guess I just saved $50.00!!!!LOL Anyway if I ever do it to anyone I just hope they politely let me know!
I ALWAYS refrain from bidding!! By the way Pappykacks is a great seller also, but all his listings are now private bidders... There was quite a few 110's I was going to bid on last week! I noticed Scott H. Bid on a couple of them!
I just saved probably another $100.00!!
My savings plan is working out GREAT!!!!!!!!! ( not really but I try )!!!!

yes i too am no doubt guilty of stepping on some toes although i havent been buying on ebay for a while now , i would prefer to deal privately or direct from the factory so it will just be on the odd rare occasion when you will see me bidding
it is a nice gesture on the part of ark to offer us a discount , as i am sure most of us here would do the same
the hidden bidder i dont care for though so i just stay away altogether
