Looking for another knife. I mainly own Benchmade because I love their CS & warranty. I really like knowing that if I somehow break my blade, they will replace it for a nominal fee.

So, what other brands have that kind of service & warranty?
I've got about $180 to spend.

Things I haven't tried but want too are.
Frame lock
Titanium
Flipper w/ball bearings (or other good materials)
M390
S110V
S90V
Obviously all boxes don't need to be checked on this knife!

Things I don't want
Liner locks/traditional/lock back
Lower quality blade steel
Assisted

I haven't tried ZT yet (i want too) but most of their offerings are out of my price range and the couple that aren't don't grab me.
I do own a couple Spyderco's but their thin tips and refusal to replace blades make me nervous.

So, help me spend my money. And if you want to include links, I wouldn't hate you for it!
Thanks in advance!

For a budget of $180 Id be looking at the incredible line up from Spyderco. All types of steels available and plenty of configurations to choose from.
Id also look at the ZT 566

I very well might get another Spyderco.
The ZT is assisted, I really want to try a non-assisted quality flipper. I guess I should add that into the original post.

Here's one that ticks a couple of boxes, is a different brand, and falls under your price ceiling.

Boker Urban Trapper.

Titanium framelock flipper with ball bearing pivot.

Designed by Brad Zinker, weighs next to nothing.

It comes in VG-10. Super steel? Is to me... super easy to get super sharp super fast.

Ti-framelock-flipper worth looking at, on bearings, and well under budget if you shop around (w/ an n690 blade) is a Viper Ten...

Kizer....Guru. Checks all your boxes but the steels you named, but S35VN is still a great blade. Light in the pocket and the wallet. I have it and the sheepsfoot, Guru rides with me a lot more though. Hope that helps

I would love to see you add $20 to your budget and get a ZT0801 or ZT0562. If you are stuck on that budget you can probably get one like new in the exchange. I will warn you the ZTs become very addictive.

I completely agree with Whitty about ZT.
If the 0450 isn’t to your liking, add a few bucks and go 0801.
ZT has good warranty service and will replace blades for a nominal fee.

Check out WE knives. The quality is absolutely stellar and even though they are a chinese company they have an American guy who is extremely helpful that can deal with customer service issues for you.

The guy goes by the name Zelrick and if you look him up and send him an email he can provide excellent CS.

I used their CS for replacement parts and it was a total breeze. Just as easy as dealing with KAI.

I needed a WE star key for a WE knife I traded for where the guy didn’t send the key. (He swears he did but that’s neither here nor there; either way I needed the tool.)

Zelrick sent me a replacement tool free of charge quite promptly.

The 0562 is just a fantastic knife. The action, the pocketclip, ergos, aesthetics, it just oozes quality.
I've had the 0562cf with 20cv and carbon fiber scales, but it's 240. The s35vn/g10 model is 200 and I too would recommend stretching the budget by $20.
