This is an old thread, resurrected from the dead today by Melvin-Purvis. He probably found it in a search and didn't look at the dates, and other people who posted today obviously didn't look at the dates either.

Sometimes I think the software should be set to automatically refuse new posts in any thread that's been dead more than a month ... dredging up old threads only confuses people.

Cougar was 'spot on'...I was doing an information search on the original Al Mar / Bill Harsey 'Shiva' knife, and stumbled onto this thread by accident...

Saw the Jim Jones reference, and remembered a party we'd thrown back in 1980 at the Keesler AFB USAF tech school down in Biloxi, 'The Reverand Jim Jones 2nd Annual Purple Jesus Party' we called it...

What a hoot, though I did lose my student leader 'rope' over that 12 hour raging mess...lol
