The spine looks like one piece of steel, that's one of the first things I look at, wonderful!

Hello to all. Here is a picture of a knife that I just finished. The thing was built with integral liners an bolsters, pivot bushings , cpm 154 blades and springs, shield is double pinned and with pre ban ivory handles. This here is one of my favorite patterns to build. I'm sorry but this knife is not available for sale but can take an order for one. Thanks for looking.

Hi and hello to all. Thanks for all your great comments.

I would like to share a picture of a knife that I just finished. It might look like just a regular swayback jack but there is something new for me in the construction and that is that the liners have no mill relive on them but rather there are washers on the side of the tang. Ok so why do this and not mill relive the liners. Well when you look at the inside cavity of a knife you always see the mill relive which is ok but on a three bladed knife or bigger this mill relive stands out even more. I think that by putting washers you are able to have a cleaner inside linner and there are not interuptions to the eye and just makes for a cleaner knife. I belive that knives with a saber ground blades can really benefit from this as they are alway a trick to make them with out the blade rubbing the liner. Usually one has to make a bigger mill relive to be able to keep the blade from rubbing against from the linners.

The knife here is 3 5/8" closed with blades and springs of CPM154, integral liners and bolsters, double pinned shield and preban elephant ivory scales.

The knife is not available to buy but can always take an order for one.

Thanks for viewing.
