Eotac vest with logo

If I was a smaller person - I'd be all over this. I'd need an XXL(T) for most items.

Is the embroidering done in house at EOTAC?

Just wondering what size would go for a 6'3" 200lb?
and what colors will be available?

They look pretty sweet and I want to order one.....

I really like the look of that, the form and function look good.

Jeff have you tried any CCW with it yet?

What size do you normally wear? I'd say go with that.

We've got about 10 of these in Medium, 10 Large and 10 XL that we will be selling. Half of them are in brown and half are black. Not sure what the price will be yet and it will probably be next week before we put them on the web for sale. They're cotton and make a good travel vest or even a survival vest. Pockets on inside also.

Now, I'm not really one for vests like this, but these look really sweet! I never thouht I'd say this, but I'm starting to consider one.

I was never into vests either. Thought you either needed to be a biker or work for National Geographic to look right but all winter I've been wearing a Carhartt vest and it so nicely covers up a shoulder holster (and spare tire) that I'm dreading the warmer temps. This vest will buy me a few more months before the "Earth has cracked in two and hell's air is blowing in my face" heat kicks in.

I'm going to say about 700x655 pixels.

:D

My Woolrich Algerian has those zippered vertical pockets behind the breast pockets and they are incredibly handy.

Man, that looks great. I'd be down for one, but i need to start saving some money.
I'm sure everyone who gets one will love it.

I have mine. EOTAC is made for the "covert" carry in mind. The fabric is cut, so when you draw from cover (strong side right) the fabric doesn't tighten up, and clears your weapon grip easily. For should rigs, the cut of the arm openings, are done to cover the bulge under the arm and the zipper pulls down easily, with no binding.

I carry a Colt 1911, 4 o'clock most days. This vest makes it easy to conceal. Course, I usually just wear a tshirt and forget about it. Tennessee is a carry state, not a concealed carry state. That said, I do try to cover it as much as I can, I do print sometimes. Smaller guns, you can hide anywhere, in pockets (tons of them) or in the waistband, shoulder rig, whatever your carry method is, this thing has it covered. Better have a camera though, because you look like a journalist when you wear it. I look like a fat journalist, and who believes in fat journalists?

Out in the woods, it would be fine. In more urban areas, I'm always afraid tactical wear will make one be a target. Though, a sport fisherman's hat may allow you to be overlooked by mall ninjas and the like.

Targeted by whom for what? :)

Don, those type of vests are often referred to as "Shoot-Me-First" vests as many UC LEO's and federal agents wear them as a way to conceal their weapon. If someone with some tactical knowledge were to start shooting, guys with vests may get it first as it's a good as wearing a badge around your neck in many places.

I know they are such an attention grabber that at least one federal agency does not allow their agents to wear them overseas.

It's akin to a guy wearing his combat boots on an airplane. Or some guy traveling with molle-covered backpacks.

I like defensive thinking, and if I were a "black hat" I'd look to see who is wearing tactical gear. I'd also be wary of folks wearing Hawaiian shirts sporting a flattop haircut.

I - personally - have had folks ask me if my suspenders were part of a shoulder rig. It is a touch odd.

A camera around one's neck could work. From experience, they make great maces.

Aside - I'm positive Don is aware of a vest being a target, hence the smiley.
