Eotac vest with logo

I'd also be wary of folks wearing Hawaiian shirts sporting a flattop haircut.

The SAS guys started that trend. :)

I - personally - have had folks ask me if my suspenders were part of a shoulder rig. It is a touch odd.

Never trust a man who wears a belt and suspenders simultaneously. He doesn't even trust his belt. (joke) :D

Aside - I'm positive Don is aware of a vest being a target, hence the smiley.

Yeah, but I think the concerns about PhoTog Vests and Fanny Packs are a bit overstated, started by gun magazine scribblers.

Dear Jeff,

Just out of curiosity, about how many condoms can you fit in those pockets?

Thanks,

JGON

Don, those type of vests are often referred to as "Shoot-Me-First" vests as many UC LEO's and federal agents wear them as a way to conceal their weapon. If someone with some tactical knowledge were to start shooting, guys with vests may get it first as it's a good as wearing a badge around your neck in many places.

I know they are such an attention grabber that at least one federal agency does not allow their agents to wear them overseas.

It's akin to a guy wearing his combat boots on an airplane. Or some guy traveling with molle-covered backpacks.

I would like one in pink 3XL - that should make me blend right in. Mardi Gras is coming up in Sydney.....

That's why when I travel with you, I have a purple backpack, a Che Guevara t-shirt and a plan to point at you and scream "AGENTE FEDERAL!" when the shooting starts :)

and here I was thinking it was my good looks and charm that kept you traveling with me

He's hoping to get the hot chicks that reportedly fall off of both of your arms when you are drinking vast quantities of Ta-Kill-Ya. :D

Jeff, what size vest are you wearing? Maybe someone asked and I missed it?!

I'm not a vest guy, but I do have some Eotac "covert" pants on the way. I think by "covert" they mean there's no cargo pockets...they could have just called them "pants"..

EDIT:
I'll say the vest is cool though for folks who like them, nice to see ESEE marketing with cool USEFULL stuff.

Covert means that once you put them on you become a ninja. Must be the invisble pants they offer.

Covert pants means inaccessible pockets :thumbdn: :p ... which translates to pockets with gear that makes you stand out trying to dig for your stuff :D

I imagine myself just a floating upper body...unless I buy some covert shirts, then that's full on ninja:D

I'm a jeans kind of guy - but when it is a dressy event I can be found in SEV Hidden Cargo Pants.

They can carry a lot without looking like they are.
