ESEE-4 (French)

Seems like a nice review but WHAT THE HELL WAS HE WEARING!?! One pic looked like he was a blow up doll with a rubber band around the middle. Kinda funny.....

Hi :).

Actually, I like to wear some wool clothes because I don't know the wool's behavior outside and if I have to survive one day, sure I will not choose my clothes, so I test all king of clothes to know them ;).

a+

PS : My trouser is a Swedish Army wool pant and my shirt is the wool shirt in the American Army Cold Weather System.

Nice, I asked...and you answered! I wish I could read French. Looks like a great review!!

Hi guys !

I have a question (that a member of davidmanise forum asked to me) about the molle back in option. What is the utility of the velcro ?

I think it's to stop the molle back on a small belt, isn't it ? If it is the case, I think velcro must be a little longer.

Bye !

Mostly the velcro keeps the belt loop area flat and out of the way when you don't need it. Also if you have it on a very narrow belt or webbing there the velcro can close up the excess part of the belt loop. btw, I posted up over on your forum in France also. Thanks again, Mike

Thanks Mike ! If you are agree, I will transfer this information at the end of my review to complete it.

Bye !

PS : you will receive a mail soon ;).

Excellente Review Guillaume !
Lots of details and pictures.
Great great job !

C'est bien écrit, précis et tout simplement passionnant ! Chapeau bas !

Cheers

(Now I hope the next issued Esee Survival Card will be waterproof ! :D)

That is some cool climbing aid he's using ... the quality of ESEE never ceases to amaze me.

Damn, that is one fine review. Hell my second language is German and I only know enough French to get slapped by a prostitute, but the pictures were so good you could figure it out.

He does the best reviews I have seen. Too many Youtube guys based here in the states don't deliver what you need to know in as brief a format as FB...if they tell you what you need to know at all. FB did this without asking for thanks or gratitude or anything else. We had a customer tell us about it on the David Manise forum so we took a look and liked what we saw.

Some reviewers here develope a sense of entitlement and literally demand thanks for doing reviews we didn't ask them to do in the first place. If you peel away all their fluff you will find they offer nothing of value to anyone.

FB does a review that has value to it and will be doing more reviews I think .:) Mike

And you are correct. Egg on my face:) But aside from screwing the identity of two Frenchmen (my apology) I satnd by the rest. Vive la France!:)

LOL he thinks we are called all Francois and shouldn't be allowed to play with screwdrivers ;)

Monsieur, you all look alike and talk like Maurice Chevalier. How am I supposed to know the difference?

Who knows, the reviewer may have hated the knife but I a damn impressed with the way he laid the review out.

Impressive amount of effort and time spent to put that together. Well laid out, and the pictures detailed the efforts very well. 110% IMO.

Wished we could see more detailed reviews such as this, both in the print magazines and here on the forums instead of everyone repeating the same old thing and doing the same old tests. I gotta hand it to the Europeans, they know how to put a high-quality magazine together and their reviews of product is much better, overall, than what us Americans do.
