ESEE-4 Stripped wth Mustard Patina

So, the only reason I did this is because with the coating wearing off the knife rusts really easily. This is a heavy use knife for me and I take it on multi- day backpacking trips etc... After even a day it starts to rust where the coating is gone especially in the winter. So I figured it could use all the protection it could get until I can get home and clean it up after a trip. I stripped it with zip strip, cleaned it up with a light scotch brite pad and soaked it in vinegar overnight. The pictures don't do it justice but it's a beautiful even black coating that I think will protect it nicely.
