ESEE-6 in Koa Wood

Holy crap that looks so sweet! The Koa wood seems to be my favorite out of all the ones I've seen you post up here. You really keep out doing yourself, great job!!!

Koa is my favorite wood for knife or handgun scales. Closely followed by olive wood. Cocobolo is a distant third, although it is tops of the ones that are readily available.

Holy crap, that album you linked to has some equally amazing work. Wow... I can only hope to be able to do that kind of stuff one day

Now strip the coating off that thing and give it a nice patina and that knife would look absolutely stunning... great work!

Koa is amazing. I actually had no idea how beautiful it is. There are two projects I have upcoming. I found some beautiful desert ironwood Burl that will be virtually indestructible and I'm bringing them up to the Sierras for snow camping. (December). I'll make a YouTube video and show off the esee doing shelter and fire making in the snow and ice!

Wow those are some impressive scales! Nice work! I wish I had more time to go back to amateur knife-making. It was fun... then school and work got in the way again :-P

Now I don't even have enough time to go camping! *sigh*
