ESEE 6 or BK 2

The ESEE 6 has the extra choil allowing you to choke up on it for more control during finer work like feather sticks, etc. That might be a consideration, too.

I own both the 6 and the BK2, both are great knives in their own respect. Like everyone before me has said, it's difficult to compare these two knives because their differences are vast.
Like you, I was also looking for a do it all camping/ bushcraft knife. I really wanted the BK2 but most of the reviews leaned towards the Esee. I bought the Esee first but felt disappointed. (Only because my desire for the BK2) Later that summer I purchased the BK2 and was not disappointed. I enjoy the feeling of such a sturdy knife, the weight doesn't bother me while performing camp chores. To make it a little more on par with the Esee I ordered some G10 scales and a Tek-Lok. Now I'm never without the BK2 on, or near my side.

Esee 6 hands down
