Ok, I know there good now. Hope to get one of there knives soon. How are the packs? If they are as good as there blades seem to be, I may get one of those also. I still need a bug out bag. How would you compare it to something like Blackhawk?

Reasonably priced, tough as they get & with the best warranty in the business... What more could a person want?

No better value for a hard use knife with the best service in the industry. Made by a company with a philosophy based on knowledge not gear hype. Anything with ESEE on it is worth buying.

are they good? well i suppose that depends on your definition.

they are well priced, have great sheathing, great fit and finish, best warranty in the business, and they work extremely well. i could go on but i think i made my point ;)

whatever you go with i think you will like it

Second to NONE when it comes to toughness, sheathing, warranty and

lastly value.:thumbup::thumbup:

meh, there okay,,,,,,depends on what your looking for, something to take down a tree with, I'd stick to a husqvarna chainsaw, something to spread butter, ehh probably stainless steel made in china butter knife, but esee's do okay with stuff in between.

Ok, I got ya! I don't know anyone who has an ESEE, and I only held one for about ten seconds at a gunshow. Now I know and I look forward to buying one. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum.

Don't mind these guys, what you just did was like walking into a Legion hall and asking if military service makes you tough.

We like our ESEE knives a bit around here.;)

their warranty needs major improvement and get up to the level of the rest of the industry...like when i'm just being a *$#&head and feel like chopping bricks, or accidentally leaving the blow torch right on the blade and end up cutting the knife in half "by accident"...out of good faith they should replace my knife free of charge since the above scenarios are clearly manufacturer defects  ...oh wait, they already do that.

i'll be honest, i bought esee knives only because of that hot esee girl they have on the ads...welcome to the esee forum!

Good one!! I expected to see a feeding frenzy like those 300 alligators on the news the other day.:D

I'll be honest I have not used any of their soft goods like packs or pouches so I can not speak to that. However I did get to see the packs & pouches at Blade show & they appear to be well made & durable. I own a some of their knives & they are great reliable knives. One would assume that their soft goods would be made to the same standards, but I have not used them so can't say for sure.

I would figure they would also. The only thing that concerns me is is they are made in Columbia. I tend to stay away from things made in other countries. Unless I know that place puts out good products. I don't know about Columbia.

hmmm, Blackchicken makes a bunch of stuff in Vietnam now, and most of their catalog is cloned from Eagle.

the ESSE packs aren't copied from anyone else and knowing ESEE they're probably doing a lot of good by bringing legitimate work and money too Columbia.

Well, I have a HEST, a Firesteel, and an AH-1. They have all met or exceeded my expectations. If that is not enough for you, I am currently pinging the DPX site for the release of the HEST folder. ESEE makes a great product and I will definitely be a repeat customer. The warranty doesn't hurt much either.

Lates,

Connor

I have an IZULA, RC3, RC4, HEST, and a couple of AH-1's. I could not be more pleased with the quality of each and every one of these.

Fantastic products, at reasonable price, with a super warranty. What more could one ask for??? ;)
