Word on the street is that Jeff and Mike will actually doing a good chunk of the sewing themselves. They are currently at a Home Ec conference with Martha Stewart learning the difference between thread and the inner strands of paracord.
This is awesome news for ESEE. Always looking forward to progress for a company that is so good to its customers.
All the soft gear you guys have ventured in to is top notch it seems. If it were made in China it wouldn't matter because I know Mike and Jeff demand quality and service over anything else. As Jeff has mentioned, lots of US businesses tell you on the phone that they don't have time or aren't interested in doing lots of projects, then hang up the phone and resume leaning on the counter talking to the daily shop hangouts about how they can't compete because everything is going to China or Mexico. Sad. For my fellow Nutnfancy fans, he uploaded a vid to youtube called "Workers Are Few" and it's 100% spot on.
