to be honest i would prefer a tomahawk over an axe as i have a gb and dont think ill ever need another axe
but a possible collab with vector now that would be extremely unlikely but drool worthy
Vec's a great guy and he has some intresting ideas, but as an avid tomahawk user and thrower, I can't get into a polycarbon haft. Why? Because if a hickory haft breaks in the field I can make a new one in 10 minutes. A wood haft has a certain spring or flex that occurs on release that a polycarbon haft could never replicate, and it would just feel WIERD if it weren't there. A hickory haft costs 5-10 bucks, and one of vec's hafts costs how much? They just don't seem practical to me, the beauty of a hawk is it's practicality and simplicity. RAT should produce a nice LIGHT hawk/belt axe that not necessarily fits the exact Nessmuk description, but at least takes some of those aspects and applies them to a single bit axe.
