I really don't even care about having my pack number on it. Even if it was a limited run of a different blade/handle combo that would suit me fine.

Oh and the ESEE skull logo on the blade. :D

What a basket case that RP3 turned out to be Poor Katie :D
simple Direction less than 50% could follow
Judging by the contest that Jeff started for the Junglas/Large Pack/Small Pack, following directions hasn't gotten any easier!!!!

I'm in though as I missed out on the first RP knife.
Still rather curious to know what the pack is gonna go by???

Seems like the KISS principle plus no exceptions on deadlines would be the way to go.
Also you did see how RYP ripped that knife away from the customer who got all fidgety, didn't you? :D

No. I only refunded people when they were stupid and couldn't follow our directions.

We're having a hard time deciding. The gang will all be together next week. We'll discuss it then when we don't have to do it via email.

Oh god, they're going to rename us while they're hammered. It's going to be the "Purple Monkey flinging poo at a moose club" :)

I'd be in again and my preferences would be the Izula II, Izula folder or ESEE-4 folder.
Bless you Katie for being willing to take on something like this AGAIN!! LOL

I would get one, whatever knife is chosen, though my preference would be for a plain edge.

I'd get one unless it's an Izula II or a 4, I just got those a few weeks ago. Actually, I need to post more often and join the pack before I can even think about buying the next pack knife...

I've been eyeballing the 5.....How bout it?

5 is nice, but I think it's too fringe. The theory I assume we're going with is something that would be accessible to most, highly useful over a wide range of tasks, and desired by many. Here's my take on the whole lot.

serrated- not preferred by most.
Clip point- illegal in places, unneeded by most.

Izula/Izula2- price point would be good. Downside is we've all got them, and a low amount of space for custom logo.

3- Been there, done that. I'm not against another one, but It would have to be a drastically different lazering/handle setup

4- Useful, well liked, Moderate price. Only downside is again, most of us have one. (not my favorite choice, but what I think is the frontrunner)

5- Too unique. Price would eliminate many members who want in. a great blade, but a very personal style.

6- Great blade, lots of real estate for a laser. Would look amazing in orange G10 and black. My personal vote right now. Downside is slightly higher cost, and not everyone likes the size. Being the perfect camp blade, I like it.

Junglas- not to everyone's style. high cost. higher shipping costs. Mostly a chopping blade, so not as much utility as others. Unique user set that would have less interest than other options.

Lite machete- Fits company and pack philosophy better. However doing a limited run of a disposable tool seems a bit silly. I do like the idea of a pack machete, but not for a numbered run.

folders/laserstrike/whatnot- this is already bad enough without trying to do it with something that doesn't exist yet.

I'd been in for a new 'pack' knife. I like the orange on black combo of the first run. My vote would go toward the ESEE-5 :) Or perhaps the first batch of Laser Strikes??:) :)
