esee pack kit

It's a neat idea overall, but I can't see myself ever using it as it is. Just not my organization style, I have a TAD OP1 gear oganizer pouch on the front of my Eberle pack that holds all my small odds and ends survival kit stuff.

look at it this way: $120 knife, $10 diamond hone, $35 fire kit, $115 for the pack sheath from Lost Mountain = $275.
Kit runs what? $187 + shipping?
sounds like a good deal to me.
in fact, good enough i'll be ordering mine soon.

Does the kit come with the blade or is that an aditional 187 ontop of the blade price??

You must live really close to where they ship out from! but it is still good to know they are quick about it! And the TTD sheath mod ROCKS!

I cant seem to get used to the wrapping the cord around the knife handle.. i tried but I have to remove it and fix a kydex sheath instead.. I liked the idea to switch between ESEE6 and ESEE5 without changing the sheath.

don't know about you guys but how many of you stayed with the cord wrapping ? I seem to favor the speed draw..
